    My daughter wanted Mexican, and Mesita looked like it had good reviews. We're up from MD ... actually, both kids are at USMMA here on LI; I was up taking them to dinner. Well, didn't know it in advance, but it was Taco Tuesday. That's a pretty good deal ... I would recommend coming on Tuesday. Everyone selected a couple tacos and mini-quesadillas and rice/beans. They had a variety of choices. OY, and the Modelo special, of course! The tacos and quesadillas were tip top. I mean, I got a steak taco, and you could really taste the quality of the steak. All very good. I would (and will) definitely repeat. I'm giving it a 4 stars as it is a bit pricey. I'm glad I got to take advantage of the Taco Tuesday specials, which kept it much more affordable. Any other night may have hurt the wallet a bit. Last shout out to, our waiter was Juan, he was great, fine service, very helpful (as well as the support staff)! Kudos!

    I came here with my family on Mother's Day after a reservation fiasco at another restaurant. Our experience here was so good that I decided to return a few weeks later for a birthday. They were kind enough to accommodate a large group on short notice. We were seated promptly. The host was friendly. We ordered a few Tres Amigos appetizers, and everyone loved them. The food variety was good. The portion was slightly smaller than expected. The fried plantains, crispy wings, and chicken empanadas were a hit. I also highly recommend the made-to-order guac. It is a great snack and well done. For dinner, the steak tacos were a hit. More than one person ordered them and enjoyed them. However, I cannot understate how delicious the Mesita Signature steak was. I ordered it at medium temp, and it was flavorful and juicy. It was a lot. I ended up taking the rest home. I absolutely recommend it.

    Been wanting to come here forever. My mom's bf wanted Mexican so I said let's go here! Food was amazing. Ambiance is amazing. I only wish my son wasn't so picky because I'd honestly probably eat Mexican more lol. He kept asking for pasta :P like no buddy it's not that kind of place. He enjoyed his goldfish we brought.
